The Glen-Nor High School was ... School colors were green and ___ ; team mascot was ____.
In 1955, Glen-Nor and Prospect Park hight schools merged to
become the Interboro School District. The school colors became Black
and Gold (we were told there were too many shades of green to assure
matching uniforms) and the mascot became a Buccaneer. The old PPHS
become the Junior High and the old Glen-Nor became the Senior High. Tinicum
students also attended. For the 11th and 12th grades we had a lot of new
faces who soon became friends.
